“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”
-Karl Rove, speaking to NYT's Ron Suskind in 2002.

secret deal? look- if bush or any other in this administration is making a "secret deal" w/ baghdad w/o the u.s. knowing the details- i do not think it will help mccain at all. at this point, most of the country feels we need to get outta there or a swift plan to get out in the next few years. but how is that bush could "FORCE" nouri al maliki if he is opposed? that is what confused me...
as a journalist, that'd be my first question.
and isn't time we let the country run themselves....succeed and fail as they will?
also, this is the independent...shrug
